Jenna Demar Spirit of Dance Award
Jenna Demar was a beautiful young girl who touched many lives. We were blessed to have Jenna as one of our students in our Spring House Studio. In her memory, her family is generously giving a scholarship which will be awarded annually at the Spring House Recital.
"Dance provided an outlet for Jenna to be creative and gain the confidence she needed. It was dance where her personality shined. She had the love of dance, the spirit of dance, and thoroughly enjoyed her time spent in the dance studio and at her recitals. The Jenna Demar Spirit of Dance award is given annually to a dancer who exemplifies the love and spirit of dance. We are honored to award the dancer, who shares the traits that Jenna had, a scholarship for the upcoming dance season." Michael Demar.
For the 2023-2024 Dance Season...
This year's recipient is an outstanding young woman who has been a student here with us for many years. She is a student teacher and her love for dance shines bright on stage and in the studio. She is kind and sweet and a pleasure to teach.
