My two daughters have been dancing with New Dance Workshop since they mastered how to walk. While that seems to be an early age, both my girls always enjoyed taking classes with Miss Rochelle and building friendships with the girls and boys in their class. Not only has Miss Rochelle taught them ballet, tap and jazz, but she has also taught them disciplice, obedience, self worth and you can tell at each and every class how much she loves the kids and how much they love her right back. The professional, yet friendly dance and teaching atmosphere that Miss Rochelle and the other instructors have created over the years is truly impressive, admired and highly recommended. As I watch my eldest daughter start to mature and grow up, I continue to remain pleased with what New Dance Workshop offers. She has now been exposed to Irish Step dance and another wonderful teacher, Miss Lauren. She is challenged weekly at that class and has learned a great deal in a short amount of time. She was fortunate to experience The “Nutcracker“ as a performer in a few small roles and is constantly challenged in the Petite Jazz Company which performs throughout the year. It makes me smile and very proud to see how this very shy 3 year old has begun to blossom into a very confident, disciplined and hard working young dancer who looks forward to learning more and more each dance class. The staff of New Dance Workshop make all of us feel like family and my girls could not be happier ballerinas because of it!

As a grandparent of five granddaughters I have been to many dance studios and dance recitals. The Marlyn Abramson’s New Dance Workshop tops them all. The young children at the age of 3 seem to know so many more dance steps than other studios children at that age. You see the progression each year. It is noticeable in all age groups.
Marlyn and all of the teachers are very pleasant and gracious with all the children and their families. They treat everyone as family.
